14 sf pb cable ???
Any one got a part # or truck model that I could use to get some parking brake cables that will work on my blazer to match the 14 bolt S.F. I swapped this in place of my old 10 bolt and the cables are too short. Thinking either a 454 SS that had a 14 SF or modifying the ones that came out of the 87 3/4 ton truck or if cables from a blazer w/ a 12 bolt would work.

How much shorter are your cables and why? I was under the impression that the brake set up on the 14 bolt SF was the same as the 10 or 12 bolt.

The cables should work just fine. I swapped out a 10bolt for a 14SF and used the cables on my truck. They should be pretty tight though.

the distance between the stopper end that fits into the outside face of the backing plate and the pressed on end that fits into the lever attached to the shoe is way too short, causing the pb brak to be extended to far out to even get the drum on. My cables are run in parallel to a bracket that joins them together. Thinking I may use a new longer inner cable and press on my stopper ends

Yeah, I'm having the same problem. Mine is about 2-1/2" short on each side.
So heres a easy fix. Just cut the bracket in half (the one that connects the 2 cables together) and weld in 2 strips of steel to your length. It worked on mine.

you are talking about the u shaped tube looking thing that holds the front cable to the rear cable or the bracket that mounts to the frame
