Do Wheel Tubs have Gaskets???

I’m replacing my Rear Wheel Tubs. It looked like there was some sort of gasket material between the tub and Bed. What would I use if anything when going back together
Thanks

Re: Do Wheel Tubs have Gaskets???

I did the same thing with my truck, I used 3m seam seal. Just lay or form it where it needs to be and mount the new tubs in. Start all the bolts and tighten the bolts little by little, back and forth. Thanks Chuck

No you don’t want metal on metal, need to seal it to keep water, dirt etc out. Thanks

You would commonly use welting for putting together stepside boxes, in particular, and I think it would be a good idea for your application too. Something like this is what you are looking for, I think.
