C/30 400 details
OK,
There are plenty of 67-72 rides in the yards of my neighbors within a one mile radius. Yet there is one that always begs me to look closer. It is a two tone C/30 Custom Deluxe with upper and lower trim and that ever so appealing "400" underneath the front side marker. So I can assume that there is a big block under the hood... but what else do these numbers tell me about this truck?

If it is a fleet side truck, it is a one ton Longhorn.
A big block Longhorn is cool no matter what. |

Sacto10, what year is it? What kind of bed? Man, I wish I was gonna have time to go lookin' when we're out there. Did get the wife and kids to agree to the show, tho.
A 400? If it's a 71-72, could it be a small block? Or, was it later when Chevy starting putting them in the trucks? I had a '76 Blazer, with a SB400/TH350. That was a good runnin' truck.

LoRay...
Depending on when you get near Sac, you'd get a kick out of seeing them stashed here and there within just .25 miles of the house! Then there is the guy in Roseville (8-10 minutes away) that specializes in these trucks, and the guy about 2 minutes away that sells them on his sales lot...has about a dozen at any give time.
Yet the one I mentioned... not sure if it is a Longhorn, but pretty sure it has the leaf springs...looks to be in very good shape too. My guess is a 71-72, maybe a 70. Jeff

Andy...............You're BACK???????.............too cool.
Yah, C30 is a 1 Ton. 400 should be a 402 big block. Would have a T400 automatic or (like my Longhorn) a 4 speed.
