Very Nice Swb Fleetside Bed For Sale In Dfw, Tx

I have a very nice SWB Fleetside Bed that I was going to keep but need to sell at the moment. It has no bondo, one minor little ding, only slight surface rust where the paint is scratched off. Very few like this left. $800.00.

The tailgate is not included.

Thanks for looking!

Ernie

If you were going to go with a SWB Fleet bed this is the one you need Randy. I would not sell it if I did not need the $$$.

Wood or steel floor? Any ideas about shipping?

Shipping would be high for the bed as it is very heavy. I would guess around $500.00. The floor is steel. I would take it to a local shipper for you.

Thanks for the reply. That's certainly a fair deal for a good looking bed. Shipping costs would definately kill me the deal for me. Someone needs to take advantage of this deal. Pretty hard to find a bed that's more straight.

I work for a company that has locations in Tyler and in Hillsboro. I wish I could squeeze the bed on a truck headed back this way!

I live right by Tyler. For a tank of gas I will take it there if you can work out the shipping. I shipped a bed to Ohio this way to a fellow whos company did business with a local company here and they carried it up there to him for some beer money.

Are you keeping the cab or looking to sell it also? If you are willing to sell it, is it solid and does it have A/C? I am going to look into if I can get my brother's trucking company to pick it up for me if we can work something out. Thanx

Hello NPilot1975,

The cab is for sale also. It is a really good cab with no rust issues exept the usual rocker area. The doors are straight to but there is some rust at the bottom. It is an A/C cab with uncut dash and has the cargo light in the back. $300.00 for the cab and doors. Let me know as I might sell the whole truck if I get an offer of $1300.00 before I sell the bed or cab off of it yet.

Hey Randy,

I have to take Mike some parts and pickup some bucket seats and some sheet metal for a trade I made. Don't know when I will get up there but it will probably be within 3 weeks.

Hello Truckintexas

I might have a good 72 Cab and front clip. I do not remember if it is an air cab but will check it out. I bought a 72 LWB truck a month ago and have not picked it up yet. Will let you know something this weekend. I do have a nice hood and driver's fender for a 69-72 truck. I have a passenger fender that is decent except at the bottom front where there was some repair work done and rust in the cup.

Hey Randy,

Yes I sold the whole truck as I do not really have the time to part it out. There are two more of these trucks that I will probably buy. I have not looked at them yet but talking to the seller over the phone they sound OK. If one has a great bed on it you have first dibs.
