Is it spray foam?

I have a question for everyone, what is that substance that is on the inside of the cab corner. It looks like some kind of spray styrofoam? Thanks Chuck

Re: Is it spray foam?

Cab corners should be bare down in that pocket. Spray foam was someone attempt to cover rust or try to prevent rust

Re: Is it spray foam?

It may have been an attempt to sound or thermally insulate the cab. But as CG alludes to, it is a rust issue. It will trap moisture. So getting rid of it is a good idea.
