55.2-59 Windshield Vendors

Who are you using for front and back windshields? Auto City Classic is out of stock on a number of their products - and of course specifically what I'm looking for; Clear glass with no shade band. Do any of the resellers stock ACC glass or do they just drop ship from ACC?

I've also seen, much less so, Pilkington used by some but its my understanding they don't sell direct to individuals. They may not seem as popular as ACC but I don't think it has anything to do with lesser quality.

Who are the alternative sources that you have personal experience with? Thanks. -Bob

Not trying to hi-jack —- but I’m looking also for all the door glass too. If any one can help us out on recommendations.

got all mine front and doors vents from Autometaldirect.com
the rear was only one not busted.

They have a very nice very large new warehouse in gainsville, ga
so may have it in stock.
1956 Chevy truck for may last build.

they also allow for direct pickup. Saved me a ton in shipping of both glass and body panels.

Followup: AMD's website says out of stock but Summit seems to think they can get them. Summit can also get OER brand but its back ordered until April. Spoke with Pilkington and they only have the green tint windshield but Summit says Pilkington doesn't even list my windshield. Getting frustrated but I guess this is becoming the new normal.
