Anyone install these?
I’ve seen these for years but never installed on a TF truck, anyone here have them on their truck? Pics?

I have them also. They were installed back in '98. Still look good. I'll try to find a picture with them visible.

They appear to go under or between the door handle, exterior, and the door sheet metal.

The function is to protect the paint from finger nail scratches.

To me it all depends on if you like a lot of chrome trinkets on your truck or you prefer the clean uncluttered look.
Unless you have someone around who's rings have scratched every rig you own though and then all bets are off.

Have them on the 54. Good news is they do protect the paint and look good. Bad news that mine are made from chrome plated c--p metal and are already pitted despite heavy waxing. I do live close to the ocean and would replace them if i could find some made of good stainless.

I have them but have never installed. I can't bring myself to drill holes in my new paint no matter how small.
