Who has used the Brothers (OER) walnut wheel kit? The hub provided does not match up to my steering column. Customer service has been mediocre so far. The holes in the hub do not align with anything on the column. I am curious if others have done this successfully. My truck is a 72.

The 2 smaller holes in the hub are for a puller and the larger one is for your horn contact. The 9 screw holes are for mounting the steering wheel to the hub. I have not used that wheel but I have a comfort grip wheel with the same hub.

Are the splines wrong in the adapter hub? Should just slide on and secure with the single nut. You need the round part of the horn contact installed before the hub. Larger hole in bottom of hub is probably for the horn contact which may install before the hub as well.

Thanks for the comments. I think it will fit and I was thinking about a couple things wrong.

I was thinking the hub needed to bolt to the column, obviously that’s not right.

My steering shaft was pushed in a little and the splines were barely overlapping, I pulled it back and it probably overlaps around 1/4” now which seems sufficient.

Thanks for the help. I didn’t realize the hub was visible and needs painting, looks like I have another project before install.
