47-55.1 Exterior Visor for 49 Chevy Truck

Trying to find any exterior visor for my 49 Chevy truck that does not have the center bracket. I went with a one piece front window so I need something else. I thought maybe the 54-55 visor might work but asking to confirm.

bowtie bits sells the 54-55 bracket that converts visors to one piece windshields.

you may need to modify some stuff to fit the peaked roof on your 49, but thats what the bracket is made for, to hold visors without a center support. by the way jeff at bowtie also sells the 54-55 visor for a pretty reasonable price considering the used prices of late.

That is one way to help with the sun blinding you though the distortion in that one piece glass.

I've seen three different trucks with those one piece windshields and each time I wondered how the owner was able to drive them with the amount of distortion in the middle of the glass. They may have improved the process in the past ten years from how they were though.
