Have to be cautious about getting political here, but things are this bad when they don't have to be. Time for the silent majority to stop waiting for someone to do something and to actively participate in the selection of our legislators / leaders. We owners of classic vehicles especially have a lot at stake.
I'm in no position to get too preachy ---- while I have done a bit in the past it wasn't nearly as much as it could have been. That's gonna change this upcoming election cycle (hence this post).
I'm to the stage in life where I realize that regrets are among the worst things in life and to be avoided to the extreme. To that point I'm now trying to get our membership thinking about these things. There are still a lot of good people trying to stand up for us and they deserve our support.
Apologies to the members and moderators if this post is out of place. It just seems appropriate in view of the thread topic and mood.
