Roof mount tractor radio.

Decided I was tired of not having tunes in my 71. So instead of cutting up my dash I Decided to go get a roof mount radio for a tractor and mount it under the dash. It has a speaker built into it. And comes with a new antenna. I know some use just a Bluetooth speaker under the seat or something like that but I like actual radio even with all the ads. It's ant the most pritty thing out thare but can be removed vary esay. Did have to drill one hole. If I had a auto I wouldn't of had to.

That should work good. I was always going to make a housing that bolted under there that a regular aftermarket radio would fit into, but never followed through with it.

Let us know how the speaker works out in the unit. You can also get a newer speaker that bolts into the stock location under the dash for these trucks too.

I figured a guy could make one them selfs and probably be cheaper to. But I didn't not feel like going through the process either. The speaker is ok. Not great gets distorted at high volume. I'd compare it to a alarmclock radio sound. But louder.
But if your looking for realy good sound your not doing this anyway right? No your added subs and more speakers. I bet it still sounds better then the original am radio. Sounds better then my 81 k10s original radio.
