Front engine crossmember for K20 suburban

Anyone know where I can find an engine crossmember for a 4 wheel drive suburban?

Re: Front engine crossmember for K20 suburban

For which motor are you going to install? Eight cylinder motor or 250 6 cylinder takes a specific crossmember and mounts. If going with 292 6 cylinder then it takes a different crossmember and mounts. If you are going to do a LS swap then that takes a different one available from after market suppliers.

Post what motor you are trying to install and someone will probably have one to sell or can point you in the right direction.

You can check the "Blazer and Suburban Stuff" classifieds. You can't post a Want To Buy but if you see one for sale you can buy it. Probably the best thing to do would be to get a Premium membership.

Then you could post a WTB on there. It may be pretty hard to find, not sure. Is yours bent?

Are all V8 engine mounts the same on suburban? 2WD vs. 4WD? 307/350?

I am pretty sure the mounts that bolt to the engine are the same. The frame crossmember is quite different 2WD vs 4WD.

I've read that some change the crossmember out from a square body 4WD to get clamshell engine mounts and sway bar mounts.
