Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: My new Hooptie

Seats are out, inner fenders and the whole grill assembly is out, just received some satin black paint for the core support and inner fenders. Temps here in the low 50's with 60% humidity, so no painting for a while.

Re: My new Hooptie

I would like to see how those wheels fit the wheelwells. I have a 93 I want to run all terrains on but finding 14's or 15's in a/t is kicking my butt. Currently running the same swirly rims as yours, but my sons lost the center caps.

Re: My new Hooptie

This is a new truck. Hard to beat these for utility and fuel mileage. They aren't the king of either, but can do real well for their size. Any new changes or upgrades? Looks like you've been making some progress.

Re: My new Hooptie

No progress per say, I've had to step down at my work (by choice), took a 30k pay cut. Now I have left that job, started a new job, and am now getting things back in order.

Sometimes life gets in the way, have to roll with the changes. BTW, I'm so much happier now.

Good to hear. The truck hobby is something that allows me to get my mind off work, but work is what actually allows us to own and work on trucks, so it is important to have it be as good as it can be. Sounds like you took some good steps.
