Re: 1970 in the Great White North

Debating ordering a R&P setup for my c20 but Im running a 67 frame with late 70's spindles, stock control arms and sway bar.

Worried about interference with stock sway bar. Cant find anyone who has done it with stock CAs/sway bar. Lately each decision is causing either re-work or another issue to figure out. Gets exhausting.

I know what you mean. I spend hours and hours and hours going through forums and reviews trying to find out if two aftermarket parts will work together. Every once in a while just have to hope and pray though. Sorry I can’t help with the factory sway bar but I’m sure somebody has done it. There are enough rack and pinion kits out now that one of them must work.

This is amazing and ambitious work you are doing. It can't be your first build, is it?

I was thinking the same thing. Very detailed and methodical. Going to be really nice truck when you're done.

Thanks, the deeper I get the more I want to do. I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’m already so far past my budget, I’m just gonna build what I want, how I want and whatever it costs in the end is what it will be. Just hope my wife survives the heart attack she’ll have when she hears the final number lol
