Tail gate latch 72 K20
Everything is butter then the tail gate latch ? yea i have tried 400 ways to make it work smooth including taking some metal off of the latch handle to make it clear the tailgate, Latch is aftermarket the tailgate is OEM. Anyone have a idea i was going to bend the pull rods to take up some slack so it would open sooner but wanted to ask the pros first.

Re: Tail gate latch 72 K20
removed the latch did some work on the metal then took the pull bars and put a slight bend in them and they would retract all the way. a few other adjustments and poof it works, Not as smooth as my new chevy but smooth enough.
