U bracket bolt size
Anyone know what the bolt size is for the u bracket on the steering column?

Oh, yeah. That bracket, more like a strap. Mine was kind of a b!tch to line up with the dash frame holes. I had to to pry things together with a large screwdriver. Body bolts like this would have helped.

Au-ve-co part number 11320.
Buy mine from Rock Auto for .32 cents each & come in a box of 25 pcs. GM used this exact bolt ALL over the 67-72 trucks. |

I don't know about those, but some are black phosphate coated to prevent rust. Others are not. Something to consider when using them on fenders, etc.
