69 chevy oil pressure pegs

Just put new gauge and line in . The guage is pegged when its cold and 3/4 when warm. Rev it up and it s pegged. It was lmc or something new.
vortec 1st gen 350 stock with new oil pump and pan . got 5 quarts in it. Bought 5 quart pan.

Mine pegs the gauge as well. The gauge only reads to 60 psi. I put an aftermarket on mine once just for a sanity check and it was running 65-70 psi when driving. About 30 at warm idle.
