WTB 5 lug stock steel wheels in DFW

Looking for a set of stock 5 lug steel wheels for my truck. Not looking for rallys but the plain wheels that had the hubcaps. Prefer DFW area to avoid shipping costs. Thanks.

Smonty, I'd like to be second in line after Ratrod if you have a bunch of them.

Like Ratrod said, I want the hubcap type ones, 5 lug.

We must be on the same wavelength with our trucks Ratrod.

I'd even swap some 7 inch 5 lug rallys if you wanted.

TxFirefighter: You might be right. You know of any place local to buy wide whites? Do you know how to decode the letter sizes they have into something I can understand if I buy online?

You've seen my 54 Chevy with the wide whites haven't you (H.A.M.B.)?

I can get you going like that for a total of less than $200 including tax and all, for a full set of 4 radials.

Yea, I've seen it. I want that car so bad I can taste it. I'm too caught up with these mullet mobile projects (Camaros) and don't have enough cash for it. Can you get the white section in different widths? I'd like to find something like these.

Mine are the cheap 4 for 99 dollar Pep Boys tires. There is a guy here in Ft Worth named Don Summerour that grinds the white wall into the tire.

Seriously, tires are white underneath the black rubber on the sidewalls. Ever notice how sloppy drivers that grind their tires against curbs have white splotches showing through? Same deal, he grinds the sidewalls for 50 bucks a set of 4. He don't care what size tires you have, get two bigs and 2 littles and he'll grind you a set of big-n-little wide whites.

Here's my car that we're talking about. I have 157 dollars in all 4 tires.

So I can get a set of 275's for the back and 235's for the front and he can fix them up for me? Do I need to get the white letter type or just any tire. I'd like to get this done asap. If you can get in touch with him or PM his number to be it would be much appreciated. I'm hoping to have my wheels tomorrow. Then all I have to do is lower my truck and ride...........

I'm at the station today and don't have his card with me.

Look up "White Owl Whitewalls" or "Don Summerour", he is in Haltom City.

Call the guy, he'll give you the skinny on what to do. You go over to his house and he grinds them right there in the driveway while you watch.

White letter or whitewall.

Call him, he's a great guy and he'll answer your questions much better than I can.
