What kind of poundage will I need for my shaved doors? 35,45,50,75,100?

This is the kit I'm going with, I think 45lbs poppers should be enough but I've never done this before so I'm not a very good source.

I'm more of a 73-87 guy so I am not sure how the latches work on these year trucks. I used a simple door lock actuator ($3) and it works absolutly perfect. Been using them for about 6 yrs now and no problems

Can somebody please help me on this question. I know somebody on here has bought the kit. I'm in a time sensitive positon here to get it done or I'll have to tell the guys to just leave it alone and I'll have to put the door handles back on. WHAT POUND SOLENOID WILL BE SUFFICIENT FOR OUR TRUCKS.

Ok I've been debating this same sublect the kit that I was looking at was by Auto Loc but it's lots more expensive than the one listed above by a1electric, but I'm not sure what is the right pound solenoid to use either although, I'm leaning to the 100 pound ones because of the presure sensitve switch in it. Please post what you decide to do and how they worked. I'm gonna debate this over vaction......

I'm going to keep bumping this until somebody gives me an answer. Chevyhouse didn't seem to confident in his opinion, but I appreciate him at least giving his.

My body man is going to install it and I'm trying to find the one that will WORK!
