Task Force Radio Speaker
Looking for the overhead speaker that was original to these trucks. Certainly even the best will be pretty much thrashed by now. Just need a good core that I can send out to be re-coned. Wanting to keep the truck original and its almost impossible to find a simple speaker anymore.
Thx, Andy_Napco |

Re: Task Force Radio Speaker
Yeah there a few places that sell a new chrome box. Depending on what you want to do, there are also a couple of speaker options too. The stock single cone style requires a fairly large hole for the magnet. There are dual speaker kits that I don't think need this bigger hole but am not 100% sure. I know LMC has the different speaker kits but I also see they are out of the boxes. See these videos as a start/reference if you don't have the mounting already there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLbvaEbb4AQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQixByUdDgg&t=368s

Re: Task Force Radio Speaker
All I need is the speaker, I've got a couple covers, I've painted mine to match the interior. I've been working on this for 20+ years, I'll post some pictures in the next couple of days, I'm off to deliver my daughter to university.

Re: Task Force Radio Speaker
I replaced my speaker but had to buy a set of two so I have an extra one.
It fits inside the speaker cover and works with the stock radio. Email me and we'll figure this out for you.
