67' - 72' bucket seats

I bought these seats from a man who said he removed them from a 67' C/10. Not real familiar with these seats or the buddy buckets except that the buddy buckets and console were all mounted on a single steel structure. I'm hoping someone can tell me what year these seats are and the possible value. Also have the console. Hate to sell these seats as I'll probably never find another set in this condition. Thank you guys and gals.

Re: 67' - 72' bucket seats

Sorry but not an expert on the seats but Ill try to help. Buddy buckets were in the 67 and 68's. These arent buddy's. Truck buckets are stationary on the passenger side, yours look to almost have the correct mounting pieces, but at the angle its hard for me to tell. But the seat also looks to have moveable brackets too. The seat sliders are wrong for the drivers side too. In my opinion these are not 69-72 bucket seats

I would do a google image search for more help on these. Top area of the board ... google box ... check the 67-72chevytrucks.com button and try different searches.

69-72bucket seats, bucket seat frames, bucket seat sliders ... stuff like that.

Re: 67' - 72' bucket seats

The seats look like buddy buckets, there were a lot of variations as they were made by a vendor not GM, hard to say. The slider brackets could be 69-72, hard to tell from the angle. The passenger brackets are stationary 69-72 passenger brackets that have been flipped upside down and some sliders added of unknown origin.

Re: 67' - 72' bucket seats

They look like they sit a bit higher than truck seats. To me they look like van seats. maybe late sixty's early seventys.

Re: 67' - 72' bucket seats

Yeah could be van seats too. Definitely a hodge podge.

Re: 67' - 72' bucket seats

Thanks for the help, all of you were correct.I started taking measurements from trucks and Blazers in my junkyard;first =the seats did sit too high.second=the drivers side seat tracks were an exact match to 2 mid 70's Blazers in the junk yard.third=I unfolded the aluminum tag that was attached to the springs on the bottom of both seats, which low and behold, revealed a Chrysler PentaStar on each tag. Also the seat cover style matched a google search of early Dodge van buckets.Thought I had aces and didn't even have face cards. Thanks for the help

Re: 67' - 72' bucket seats

I’d be interested in seeing a side shot of the drivers brackets

Re: 67' - 72' bucket seats

67' means 67 feet. 67" means 67 inches.
`67 means something removed (in this case 19) and 67.
I apologize but over the years it gets to be an annoyance.

Wow. So this is what the board is becoming. Now I see why people aren’t as active on here as they used to be. Unreal.
