1973-87 tubular transmission cross member

Looking for opinions/reviews concerning the aftermarket tubular transmission cross members for 3rd gen trucks. My stock 74 stepside has an update R motor with 700-R4 transmission, I'm using the factory cross member but cannot drop pan for maintenance without have to support trans to remove the cross member.

Haven't been able to find any owner reviews on Google pertaining to fit and function, or having to make modifications to frame or driveline, etc. According to manufactures, CPP and JY Performance, they bolt on frame with existing holes and trans mount, and do not change the angle of transmission or driveline. Any info or experience with these crossmembers would be appreciated. Thanks!
