'66 GMC rebuild and 4x4 conversion

Thought I'd share my progress on the '66 GMC 4x4 conversion. Frame stripped to metal and shortened 11 inches; didn't want a long bed nor a short bed. It has 35" tires. I have replaced darn near every replaceable part (so many damn bushings) and that stuff adds up super fast! $$$

I will be using a pteviously rebuilt 292 straight 6 which will be turbo'd. I'm only going to run 5-7 pounds of boost as I don't want to destroy the engine. I am sticking with the sm465 transmission.

Progress has been slow, but it has been so therapeutic. I love the build process.

Cleaning off the underside of the cab was a mess! Going to be painting it soon.
