Fast and a fuel filler idea.

A YouTube video. Guy has a Hellcat motor in his 68 C10.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDzpqSvqJz0

Chevy grill and GMC tail gate so he is not bias.
Nice truck with a fun video.
Check out the gas filler at 4 min into the video.
He has a removable floor section held in with magnets.
Kept the stock tank fill as a dummy.
One way to solve the "how do I get this round filler installed on a corrugated floor.

Some low $ stuff, but not the suspension, brakes and motor.

Cheers.

Nice ride for sure. He kept the original style door panels, at about the 5 minute mark you can see where the seat belt beat the paint off the door panel. That shows he drives it like it should be driven.... and uses his seat belt. Lol!

Re: Fast and a fuel filler idea.

I very much appreciate the work, money, and effort it took to build such a nice hot rod C10.
At the risk of sounding like a ol geezer…
You think those magnets will hold in a front end hit? Probably make for an interesting projectile. I do not recommend others duplicate.
What bothers me most is the acceptance of the behavior on public roads. I get it at age 20, but this owner is over 50 and still has the carelessness for others or the, it won’t happen to me attituded.
His driving position is clear he has never been to a performance driving class or it did not stick. It appears he has a minimal amount of experience driving at threshold limits. This makes for a very dangerous blend in a location where unsuspecting drivers could easily find themselves in the way.
Sorry, I just had to say something.
I feel better.
Off my soap box now.

Re: Fast and a fuel filler idea.

I occasional do stupid stuff on public roads.
However, it is typically where there is nobody around.
For the obvious reasons. And the cows don't seem to mind.
I do get your point.

Just recently in Des Moines, Iowa. For those who think this is no big deal. This can be the result of bad choices.... No finger pointing intended.
