Progress, Stripped and painted Chassis

Well I spent the day working on my 72 3/4 ton 4X4 GMC to Chevy project. I finished stripping what was left of the body, cleaned and painted the chassis, and also mounted the rebuilt tranny, transfercase. Oh ya, also mounted the completely rebuilt front driveline. I should be getting the engine back from the rebuilders sometime this weak also. I will get it mounted this weak and hopefully start assembling the body.... I am going to have custom plates made for it that will read GRDN-TRK LOL WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Did you rebuild the tranny and transfer case yourself?

Yes this is the GMC with the monster bumpers... about 350 pounds each...LOL The color will be peuter (spell) and I used Hammerite "Rust Cap" for the paint for the chassis. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com
