Re: Trucks in the snow.

Headed out work in this today. 3 inches and counting. The news is already calling it "historic snow fall".
I'm sure it will turn to rain and just be a bigger mess for the trip home later. People around here don't know how to drive in snow. Uggh!

Re: Trucks in the snow.

Dang, looks heavy and wet. This is unusual for Portland in April, right? We've had a cold spell here the past few days and they got snow in the mountains. Right at freezing this morning but up to about 60 by afternoon. Looks like out first heat, almost 80 is coming this week. The Carlisle swap meet is next week and who knows what we'll have for weather

Apparently today set the record for latest snow fall ever in Portland. Definitely wet and heavy. Lots of trees going down and power outages this morning.
It was in the upper 60s last week. The old lady got excited and had a put bunch starters out for the garden that probably won't make it now.
We had pretty good weather for the Portland Swap Meet last weekend. Only scattered showers n the mornings, no wind and temperatures in the upper 50s.
Good luck at Carlisle.

Sounds like you better not put your snow shovel away yet Eric....

We had tornadoes and hail again in Iowa, but not in my area.

Re: Trucks in the snow.

I just put my snow shovel away yesterday. I think I'll be good (now watch it snow).

Wow, -70. That's 102* below freezing. Give me a minute to let that sink in

It sure makes me feel better knowing that is "spring snow". Although I'm having a hard time telling the difference

They look awesome, but they will surly rattle your brains if there isn't fresh snow. If you are in a couple feet of fresh snow its is smooth as butter. But you get some wind burned compacted snow and they should come with 4 point seat belts LMAO! Hope your well Cruiser!!

Re: Trucks in the snow.

To the top with yesterday and today's snow. Over 6 inches for the morning commute. I had to take the long way into work as I-5 was a parking lot of semi trucks as far as I could see in both directions from the overpass.

Like any other day, head out to work and avoid traffic... then add in 6" snow. I like driving in snow as long as no one winds up blocking the way

Re: Trucks in the snow.

Around MPLS they got 18-20 inches of snow over the last couple of days. Here in central MN about 6-8 inches.
Not quite time to take the plow of the Jeep.
