72' doors
I found a 72' short wheel base step side that has been rolled. The truck has low miles and I would like to rebuild it. I think I can just weld a different top on the cab, but my problem is with the doors. What is the difference between the 1972 doors vs. 67-71 doors? I have 2 sets of the 67-71 doors, what would have to be done to them to use them on the 72' cab? -- Or whould I be better off finding 72' doors? Thanks for the help, Todd

67-72 doors will work in the 72. The only exterior difference is the screw in door, on the upper part of the main area of the door.
Internally I think there may be a difference in the way the window regulator bolts up, but I am not sure. If you use the other doors with all of their internals you will have no problems.

The 72 regulator has a longer shaft because if the thicker door panel.
