I put a Truxedo LoPro Roll up cover on mine last year. Easy install with 2 people and fits great. https://truxedo.com/truck-bed-covers...let/c10-pickup

Re: Tonneau FOR US LONG BED PEOPLE
How does that work in the snow if you take the truck out of the garage?

Re: Tonneau FOR US LONG BED PEOPLE
Truck sits inside from Late October till mid/end of April so never gets snow on it. It ribbed but the ribs are integrated into the cover so drop the tailgate undo the latches and she rolls right up to the back of the cab.

Re: Tonneau FOR US LONG BED PEOPLE
I've had several truxedo roll up tonneau covers, they perform well in Canadian winters . I've had a foot or more of snow on them and just sweep it off, no problem.
At really cold ( -35° c or worse ) they get a little tight. It's good to adjust them so there's a little more slack to releive the tension when they shrink slightly. On my '67 I bought a 2nd had unit that was originally on a 2008 dodge. Ok, it's not perfect. Length on the long box is spot on. Width at the front is perfect. The dodge had a tapered bed though. At the back it's about 5" narrow. I cut a couple 2x6's from a point to about 2.5" and used them as shims inside the top of the bed sides. I clamped the frame for the tonneau on and it works great. For now the wood is painted black but I'll dress it up some way next spring.. I got the truxrdo for $200. It ain't show quality but it looks good, functions as it should and saved me a ton of money.

I just put one on. Tonno Pro tri-fold. for a 73 chevy long bed. Bought off Amazon $277. Fits great.
Picture is crooked, but you get the idea.

Re: Tonneau FOR US LONG BED PEOPLE
I couldn't get the Truxedo LoPro to ever fit right on my 72... Not to mention it caused such a bad exhaust drone in the cab that I took it off. $400 sitting on a shelf in the garage... smh

I've never noticed that in my modern trucks. The cabs have a lot better insulation and sound treatment material though. Being a stereo nerd obsessed with sound and what affects it now I'm going to have to do an A / B comparison on my '67. That will have to wait until spring now though.

I bought one of these for my 68 SWB. It fit really nice. It was listed for 73-84, but it fits really nice on the 67-72 trucks also.

Re: Tonneau FOR US LONG BED PEOPLE
I'm old school. I was having tonneau covers made for my trucks before the concept of frame insert style came to be. I get an upholstery shop to make them. You guys will cringe at the thought of all those 1/16" holes for snaps drilled into the bed. But like I said, I'm old school and I do my trucks period correct. I actually like seeing the snaps along the edge when the tonneau is removed. And the wholes are no problem to close up if I decided I wanted to change it. My '72 had cargo hooks screwed into the bedsides when I got it and I like those, too. I still have a parchment tonneau stashed. I think it would look great on my white truck with the cargo hooks.
I do also like the these modern design frame-mount tonneaus.
