Re: 1972 GMC Using 2003 Chevy 2500HD duramax Chassis
Read the whole build so far, wonder how many hours you have in this build so far. Or what someone would charge to do this conversion??

Re: 1972 GMC Using 2003 Chevy 2500HD duramax Chassis
I got the truck started. All I had to do was hook up the ground wires since I didn't cut any wires. I hooked up the batteries, and after 5 years of sitting it cranked over about 3 times, and started right up. The turbo didn't want to turn, but it's fine now. I had 0 oil pressure, but it was just the sender.https://youtu.be/_gxnzXOWzAk I made a video of it running.

Photobucket sucks now. You get charged $39.99 a month if you want to show your images. Have to find a new site to use.

Re: 1972 GMC Using 2003 Chevy 2500HD duramax Chassis
I don't use photo bucket, I refuse to pay as well, but i can post my pics in threads if I'm on my laptop or desktop. When you click on post reply the window comes up to reply in. As long as you have your pics on your cpu you can click the little paperclip by the smiley face in the top menu bar and you can upload pics right there, max of five at a time. I haven't figured out how to do it from my phone or in pms though. Im looking at doing this same conversion to my wifes 69 suburban and would LOVE to see some pics!!

I had the chassis sandblasted. I painted it with Eastwood chassis black. I just about have the rolling chassis back together and painted. |

I made an Instagram account with a lot of the build progress if you guys want to see pictures. The name is "knucklebanger_garage" It was hard to find a name that wasn't taken.
