Late Model Cargo Lamp
Currently in the process of restoring my '68 and would like to install a brake light/cargo lamp frenched into the back of the cab. Has anyone seen one done and what make and model of truck did it come from. Any help would be nice. I am kinda leaning towards the new silverado styling but the mid 90's ford would probably be more pratical as it is flatter.

i put a 2000 ford superduty light on my pickup. not frenched, but looks good. i also looked at the late 90s dodge unit, the curve looks about right, and there is just the lense above the sheet metal, but i noticed a lot of the dodges in farm country had sun damaged cargo lights. they seem to fade pretty easy in lots of sun. you might check that out.

don't know what would work for the cargo/brake light, but anyone interested in a third brake light check out the newer style (mines an '03) Chevy Impalas third brake light. it is LED, perfectly flat, and long oval shaped. i think it would work pretty good.
