just realized i didnt post what the problem ended up being, and it could help somebody later on.
the marks on the balancer ended up being wrong for whatever reason. i felt of the #1 piston and it wasnt at tdc yet so i turned the motor untill it was and then put the dist. back in and it ran like new again. so dont just trust the marks on the balancer.
