Parking brake questions for my ‘64.
Guys, I’m curious what most people do when they run a TH350/400 in one these. I have a tubular transmission mount installed and need to redo the parking brake as the original setup is no longer an option. I believe I need to convert to a 66+ setup but I’m sure some of you have crossed this bridge already. Thoughts? Also, if anyone has a complete kit I can purchase please let me know. Thanks, Bob.

Most people convert to the 66 parts. I believe all the typical repop parts sellers have the parts you need

The transmission cross brace came flipped and bare when she was purchased, so I bought e-brake components and bolted them on. Has worked without any problems for the last 10 years.

Re: Parking brake questions for my ‘64.
My 65 had all the parking brake components removed. Everything from the handle to the lever part in the drums. Cables were cut off. So... I pieced it all back together, with a mix of used parts and new cables. Works perfectly.
