Split rim duals
My truck came form California. Story goes, the 2nd owner added a 5th wheel hitch to tow a travel trailer to Arizona. I got them from the 3rd owner.
Kinda hard to tell, but the black arches in the back are metal fender extenders. Seems like they used plain old sheet metal screws to attach them. Holes aint that big. I know split rims are a no-no now-a-day. I know I'll never use em. Was wondering how rare they may be. Thanks much...Don. |

Re: Split rim duals
Those look like mine not true split rims . My 68 has this type and aren’t a no-no most truck shops do them everyday . They are actually three piece rims .
