What do the 'E's look like.

I took picture of this at a 2nd hand store cause I couldnt see that well. Recall seeing 3 bolts.
I sold ones off my 69..but they all had a nice discernible 'A' on them.

The "E" bolts are on the left and stamped under the head. The "C" on the right are stamped at the bolt's end like where yours shows an "A".

Include a pic of the letter on bottom of bolt your looking for...it might help. The 'A"s are ones I sold on WTB.
I can't discern the letter stamp on ones I saw at 2nd store weeks ago. Previous pic.
Good luck on search.

Re: WTB, a couple real nice OEM front bumper bolts

Picture of the bolts I'm looking for. OEM doesn't necessarily have to be stamped "E". The heads look like the set of four in the OP. Thank you

Here's one. Note I found all six bolts pictured in the OP on this truck. Figured the two on the right were installed into the outer holes. I'm not sure they're factory correct. Or if installed by the factory, perhaps they're wrong. I know the four on the left are correct.

Do you notice how the inner 4 are recessed ? The outer are not ? I wonder if the outer two were shorter headed because then the depth of the bolt head would all be the same when fastened/tightened ???

Wow, interesting thought. Perhaps my outer two bolts are original and factory intended after all. Hmm. That would mean I got all the bolts I need Hmm. I read someplace that those on the left were the only style for a front bumper. Doesn't mean they're right.

On topic, I have this image of all my bumper bolts. The tops of the front bolts ("E" and "C") look pretty darn close, you might be on to something.

Total wild ass guess ! I was looking at my front bumper & thought the painter really torqued those middle bolts until I just purchased a new bumper, saw the recesses and started me thinking. Somebody has to know ? Joesjunk has that all original 4x4, maybe he can eyeball it ?

Think I may need to ask

I posted on the subject, no response, though I recalled it was a repeat because I brought it up 2015, where a response was the pair of "C" bolts are wrong. I can't say for sure where they were on the bumper, it would just make sense the outside.

The proposed consensus was they're all like the "E" bolts. Odds many (most, all) 71-72 bumpers had the same thing, the front just happens to look the same because the difference is at least barely distinguishable. Both heads are 1" diameter, 1" threads.

For comparison. OEM bumper with bolts shown in the OP.
