TAC connector
I'm trying to troubleshoot the TAC connector from the wiring harness. To see if im getting voltage to the pink wire. I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly. Can someone let me know how to properly do this. Also I want to check for voltage to the gas pedal and throttle body. I'm suspecting we have a bad wiring harness.
Thanks, Ramiro |

Re: TAC connector
I would highly recommend you buy this book:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1613257015/ It has detailed drawings of all the wiring and connectors. It should tell you where every wire goes. You used to be able to view most of the book on Google Books, but they have now limited it...or may be that's just for me, since I have looked at it so much. Here's link https://www.google.com/books/edition...0/UJdwEAAAQBAJ |

Re: TAC connector
I had read reviews about the harnesses before i bought one, that talked about people having some wires swapped, but they said their tech support helped them resolve it quickly. I went ahead and ordered anyway and didn't have any problems. If I remember, this is your 2nd harness from them too...
Another great resource is the LT1swap.com site ... this page - https://lt1swap.com/2000harness.htm I think I recall you are DBW, here's the page with all the PCM pinouts there - https://lt1swap.com/2004vortec_pcm.htm If you are DBC it's here - https://lt1swap.com/99-02_vortec_pcm.htm Good Luck! |
