Rockwell T221 Input Shaft

Hello

am rebuilding my old rockwell t221. My input shaft has wear. Anyone got a good one and also the sliding gear. Divorced Case

I have a divorced transfer case so the input shaft looks like this but worn badly in the mid section short splines

E-bay has at least one of those shafts listed right now. Search T221. Other parts there too for the Rockwell,

I did look at the one on ebay. It is expensive and no returns it looks like it could have wear equal to mine. Have asked seller if he would put the gear on it and see if there is measureable backlash he stated he would check it out but has not contacted me as yet. I don't want to buy a shaft for that kind of money and have just as much wear as the one I have. I would buy it if he would allow me to return it. Right now the one I have with the gear is 50 thou backlash. I expect a used gear and shaft to have some I could be happy with 6 to 10. If I can't find a good used one I will take the one I have and have the splines that are worn welded up and machined to spec.$$$$
