Just one dollar can go along way to help ease your frustrations!
ok folks here's what i think we can do!!!
The server is not big enough to do what we as the users what it to do and we as the users ought to be helping to foot the bill. You use Wal-Mart but if you didn't pay there wouldn't be one. You use McDonald's but again, if you didn't pay the bill you wouldn't have your Double Quarter Pounder, supersized w/ a diet coke You use miller, bud, jack, or whomever you drink from (I don't Drink) but if you didn't pay him then they wouldn't be around. You use the Highway but if you didn't pay the taxes then you wouldn't have one to burn rubber on. Think about it..... if each active member paid just 1.00 to the FUND then we could have a better server faster and better and maybe enough to have a better program inordder to have the search and better lager pics up. If 100 folks trasfered 1.00 to paypal then that would be about 95.00 after fees. then if 300 we'd have 285.00, if 500...475, if 1000 folks then we'd have $950.00 and that would be plenty to do what we need!! do it transfer to chevy69@grandecom.net through paypal and don't forget to add to it to cover fees and the give somemore to get that heartbeat running faster. You spend 500+ for a good part why not spend just a little to keep the thing that helped you get that part running better!!! sswj To see more info on transfering or other ways of giving click this sentence

Whatever happened to the "contributor" that used to be under your name when you post, did it go away with the new board look?

I give $5 a month. Sometimes I forget, but I "catch up" when I remember. Would'nt want it to turn into a STRICT pay for use thing though. I got enough rules to contend with. These gentle nudges ought to be enough to work on a board members counscious to do the right thing.

Good idea. Bigger/faster=better. Sent mine (plus a little extra). I have received hundreds, if not thousands of dollars worth of 'tech support' (for free) and had many questions answered by just looking around this place. Would hate to not have it handy!!

We will be sending in some cashola here in the near future. I have paypal but have never used it so now i gotta see if i remember all my details. I may just have to start a new account. We are a very lucky bunch to have access to such a wealth of FREE knowledge. Thanks again to you Josh for all your hard work ad sleepless nights to try and keep us from going thru withdrawl. The last time the board went down, i actually posted on ChevyTalk I just felt dirty after that

I beat y'all to the punch. I sent in my donation on the 11th, with notes of hoping it will help to fix the board issues.
I also am wondering about the contributor deal? Not that I'm vane or anything It's just nice to have others see your recognition....it also acts as a stimuli to new donations because "everyone wants the little contributor logo |

Good topic, always good to keep our board up to date and running smoothly. The way I look at the boards, they give way more info than a magazine so I try to give at least a couple subscription fees in donations each year. Every little bit helps!

I tried to send some $$$ his way a while back but I couldn't afford it at the time, I had a lot of trouble with my truck(engine problems). I'll be donating money soon...............
