Re: Project "Leon "
Those Revs are sweet, I particularly like the 20's with the smooth lip.
I intentionally purchased the modular drop spindles so I could tuck 20's under the front of my pickup and after seeing these mounted I am sold. Last edited by Xeen; 05-12-2015 at 12:56 PM. |

Re: Project "Leon "
I was a bit skeptical when I first started looking at them. Now that I have them, they are really nice. I got the Wheel and Tire package from a company in Cali. Pretty good crew to work with. The center caps are plastic. I'll be ordering a new set of TTII american racing caps soon.

Re: Project "Leon "
Hey there, Internet friends! Be ready for a long post.
I sit here behind my keyboard almost 5 YEARS to the date from my last update... Sorry for being lame, but life has changed a large amount in the past 5 years. The next paragraph is the update over that time period, if you don't care about that, skip on along to the truck. In 2015 I got a job offer to moved to New Hampshire and have a full time residence on at a summer camp for kids as a Facilities Manager. So, In a two week time frame, I packed up my house, all my tools, and truck. Loaded my trailer and took off 32 hours and 1836 miles across country. Leaving most of my big tools, house, and sadly... my 69 in storage. Over the next 5 years, I collected some more toys to add to my cylinder count, I guess I just like a project. Bought a 74 Vette, and put a pile of time and effort into it, ended up hating it and traded it for a 01 Harley Fat Boy. 2 days later, I traded that in on a 2010 Street Glide that I still have. 2 years after that I bought a 99 Jeep TJ. In true me fashion, I went right through it. (Front (Dana 44) and Rear (Ford 8.8) Axle swap w/ 4.88 Gears and 35's, Lockers front and rear, Trussed F&R, ARB onboard air, Rock Sliders, "Home Built" Front Bumper, Rock Lights, F&R Fenders and Flares, etc.) I still have both the Harley and Jeep and enjoy them very much! Because money doesn't grow on trees here in the Granite State, I started a Sign business on the side. Vehicle Lettering, Decals, Signs, Etc. It's been the fuel for my financial addictions. Good thing I never got into meth. Because of the business I have acquired some more cool toys. 64" Sign Printer, 64" Vinyl Plotter, and a Laminator. But the most recent was a 5X5 CNC PLASMA!!! Can't wait to put that to work for LEON. Last March, I was able to purchase my first house so I have a place to put all of my Junk... It's becoming full faster than I could imagine. Need a bigger shop, now! Back to LEON now. After 5 Years and no place to have a truck torn into pieces, I finally got to a point to where I could get back to work. Then I was faced with the time, or lack, of, to go get it. With basically 4 days of straight driving on top of sorting through, and loading 2 storage units up, a week off work would have been a tough challenge... Then COVID hit... After changing jobs from the summer camp to Heavy Equipment sales back in September, I was furloughed. With time on my hands and fuel prices at the lowest price I've ever seen, I set sail. Took two weeks to spend time with my family. Sort through my junk and load all my stuff on my 32' Gooseneck. LEON is finally in my garage and I'm ready to get back to work. Here are some pictures of the previously mentioned toys and LEON. Probably going to have to do several picture post, so Hang with me... It Feels good to be back, Love to hear from y'all, Hopefully your trucks are doing well! Corvette Before and After Vette and Fat Boy I Traded for and the FLHX I traded the Fat Boy For 99 Jeep TJ Before and After and a couple of Buld Pics House Before and After Remodel Leon Transport and Back in the garage ready to continue work
