Re: My 68 Chevy Openroad motorhome
We all know there is no replacement for displacement, but never sell a 327 short....they didn't call it the Mighty Mouse for nothing.

Re: My 68 Chevy Openroad motorhome
First off, where do you see a VIN number posted? Secondly nothing in the VIN on these trucks will tell you if it's a big block or a small block.

If any one has done a chassis swap, what's the best year?

Re: My 68 Chevy Openroad motorhome
Again where do you see a VIN posted? Being a V8 doesn't make it a big block!

Re: My 68 Chevy Openroad motorhome
No Vin posted, I was going off mine, and yes on the Vin one of the letters does mean, V8 or V6 I believe. I didn't mean big block, I just posted that meaning V8, not thinking it would upset anyone. The E in Vin is V8 the S is an I-6. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
