Anybody have a shift light????
Anyone here have a stand alone proform shift light installed in there truck? I just bought one from summit racing and it seem's that the light cannot be mounted to metal? When I mount it to metal the light stay's on and I have double checked the wireing.... This seem's to be a problem since the whole damn truck is metal.... Anybody have any advice????

sounds like it grounds it self. have you tried putting a piece of rubber under the mount? i don`t know if it will help but it might work. never had the problem. my buddy had a stand alone lite but he mounted it to his tach. good luck.

Yes, just put some rubber under the mount plate... and try and find some rubber coated screws.
