Anyone here doing custom waterjet or CNC or other fabs?

Is there a vendor on this site that makes custom pieces from a waterjet or CNC machine or the like?

Re: Anyone here doing custom waterjet or CNC or other fabs?

I would be interested to know this also.

Member A1971Blazer owns a machine shop.
He makes some Shifter boot retainers.

I am in the slow process of Retrofitting a CNC machine.
I saved it from going to the scrap pile.

Probably just do my project jobs on it.
Who knows, I may find a few parts to make and sell.

I will give it a shot. Thank You. Side question--- Wonder why I only get some notifications and not others? I had to go to this thread to see posts. Shouldn't I get emails?

Re: Anyone here doing custom waterjet or CNC or other fabs?

I am employed at a Machine shop.

They have several companies that they outsource jobs to.

One of the Material (Aluminum, Metal and bronze) supply vendors does water jet cutting also.

There is another place that bends sheet metal for our jobs.

Most all our CNC stuff is done in house.

Some of the people that we sub our work to are small Mom and Pop shops.

If you want, you can Pm me with some details of the project,
I will see if it is something I can help with.
