Easiest way to get to front springs?
Pop the balljoint on the LCA or the u bolts to it? My book says U bolts, but I dont wanna do that and I have a feeling it would be much simpler to get it out with a jack and the balljoint, wouldnt need a spring compressor then.

I've done both methods and I found the LCA Balljoint is easiest after doing it plenty of times! Good luck,

i undid the ubolts, first time doing it so I don't know how hard the balljoint way is but the other way is pretty easy, no spring compressor is needed either way I would imagine at least I never needed one, again Good Luck either way

On our trucks, the lower balljoint castle nut is easiest, then let down the jack and watch out.
