Lil' Help
Hey Chad,
Welome to the board as I see that you have a few posts. Not sure what year gas pedal you have, two different styles. But, a little advice; when you ask for help on items, be as specific as possible or post a picture of problem. Alot of knowledgable people on here and if they can see or understand what you are trying to describe, help is on its way. Need a few more details on this one.

On a 69, there will be two nubs that come out of the floor board. The pedal has two notches on the back of it that will pop onto these nubs. No tools needed.

If you need the "nubs" in the floor we stock them.

Your local GM parts store stockes them too.........I have a part # back home and will get it for you if you can wait till next Tuesday. Chances are you will have to retap or drill out the broken pegs. Took me about 5 min to do both of mine and they were rusted in.

I just gave my new pedal a good whack with a rubber mallet to get it to go into the studs on the floor.
