NICE 84-87 steering wheel

Here for sale is an 84-87? steering wheel. In excellent condition, removed from a low mile, well cared for motorhome. The steering wheel has a very light gummy feel, it’s not perfectly smooth how it probably should feel. The center hub has some light surface rust, horn insulator is damaged but can be used the way it is. Notice the horn button doesn’t have any de-lamination on the horn symbol.

Re: NICE 84-87 steering wheel

I'm interested in the wheel but have a few questions if you please let me know. Thanks

1. Is the plastic separating from the center hub as it appears to be in pic #2.
2. Do you have the horn mounting hardware.
3. Have you attempted to clean the "gummy" film off the wheel.
4. Any cuts or gashes.

1. What you’re seeing is the excess rubber from the molding process, if I put my finger in the excess rubber and and lightly pull up the rubber will flex a little in the formed areas.

2. Yes, horn button hardware is included.

3. I used simple green to clean the wheel up and it removed the dirt and grime that was there which was very little. I haven’t tried anything else.

4. No cuts, gouges, or other physical damage. Very nice in terms of physical appearance.
