67 Grill Molding source

Does anyone have any first hand experience with these aftermarket grill moldings for a 67/68? I see a lot of places sell them but I don't know which is worth it.

My original ones have a couple of nicks / dents in them and with as much as I am spending on paint and already spent at Mar-K I don't want to use them if there is a quality set out there.

Any insight greatly appreciated!

I just bought mine from gmc pauls. They are thin but if you’re careful they will turn out nicely.

Another option is to buy a steel set and have them chromed

68 bowtie that is NICE !!!
Is that your new trim that's thin on your pictured truck did your grill bowtie fit back in place like originally, my bowtie does not fit right with the new trim, the contor of the new trim is not the same as the original bowtie.
I'll check tomorrow sometime to give the brand name. Just a upon on the trim, came from CORVEX

It seems like Corvex is the only company making them, so you can probably buy them anywhere.

Re: 67 Grill Molding source

Be careful when you're installing those clips on the trim rings, the trim metal is thin and when you put the clips in place and twist you can crease the trim, it was a bit tight I used a plastic pry just lightly for the clips to twist in place, don't over twist or it will push up on the tin trim and make the outward dimples show on the trim. I made that mistake on the first to clips as I mentioned the clips were tight to twist in place. I would suggest starting with the bottom trim ring at the bottom of the ring first. My original bow tie does not fit in the trim properly, doesn't seem to have quite the same original contour. The Corvex headlight trim I did not used, shine and fit not to my liking.
