Aftermarket door shells

I know it has been asked before, but I’m looking for recent experience of the quality of shells on the market. I know AMD, KeyParts, and Goodmark sells complete door skins. I purchased lower inner door panels from AMD, and they were junk. The KeyParts one I ordered was almost an exact copy of the original (Very good). The KeyParts doors are more expensive, but if better than the AMD in the same ways as the lower panel was, it’d be great.

Anyone have any recent experience? Thanks.

Also interested if anyone has any recent feedback, but from what I've read, go with the Key Parts doors. I'm planning to buy a set for my Blazer in a couple months and I will be going with Key Parts.

Here is a more recent thread with some info. Near the end there is a comment that the Key Part door fit good.

I bought a pair from LMC for my '67 build and had them painted an installed before I found some really good OEM doors.
Honestly, they fit but not as well as I had hoped. The biggest issue I ran into was the upper window frame, it's not exactly in the correct location in relation to the door frame in the cab and the windows did not fit properly.
When I put the vent windows and the glass in, the window contacted the inside of the door frame at the back and would not go all the way up. I ended up belt sanding (with great difficulty) almost 1/8" of the glass to make it fit.
I believe they were Key Parts doors. I bought them because I had gotten my stepside fenders from LMC and they were very nice...APEC brand.

Now this has been a few years back I did a 70 model and the customer wanted new doors . I took a pair he had bought cant remember the name on the box but I could not even shut one of the doors. I was WAY too tall I figured I had messed up somewhere putting in the rockers but everything was right on the cab and measured out great. I bolted his old doors on fit great, so I went to put in the vent glass and the screw holes were way off. I ended up removing the upper door hoop and putting it down in the door something crazy like an inch and a half. I got it in place and welded it back up body worked it and it turned out great. Lots of extra work but it is just work. Remember it is called body work, not body fun. Jim

How recent was the Key Part doors? They redid tooling on their inner door patches recently, and they’re spot on. Was hoping the whole door was, too.

I got a Key Parts left side door from Summit 11/23/22, fortunately I had a very nice original right side door to compare it to and make templets. First off the window frame radius at the rear did not match and the frame was a bit too high on the door panel. I removed a good frame from a rusted door and replaced it, then checked the vent wing fit and frame to cab fit at the drip rail and A pillar. Next the hinge area was not the right dimension from the front panel edge, I shimmed between the hinges and door as I had the hinges moved all the way to the rear. After I had the door fitting just OK the the rear door gap was too wide, I welded 1/8" steel rod to the rear edge to get this right even after shimming the door rearward. lastly when I did final assembly I found that the area where the window regulator attached wasn't formed right and the regulator shaft stuck too far through the trim panel, I shimmed the regulator deeper in the the door. I did get the door to fit well enough to suit me but I would never do it again. The reason I put the date I bought the door was maybe they have changed the dies since then, I hope they have but I would only use an original if I did it again.
