How was the oil pressure??? That’s a massive leak.

Oil pressure was the same as the 8.1 in the black Dually so no problem there....

It probably won't make it back through they will drop to the bottom.

Is the oil pan Metal?
If so a magnet could be place in a position away from the oil pickup.

I had a few small pieces of metal on the end of the magnet. Oil pan is aluminum.

My 02 subruban is the best bang for your buck truck I've ever bought. I only use it for going to the lake or camping, but its perfect. I love it very much.

Magnetic oil plug or just glue a magnet on the pan. Once had a rocker shoot right over the adjusting nut and stud. Had a bunch of valve springs break and cause rocker carnage.

I have had an '03 for a few years that I use to plow my drive. The problem is that it is so rusty that I can't drive it on the road any more. This one is still good enough to be road worthy.

I have a couple of small rare earth magnets and I thought about sliding one of them through the drain plug hole. I may check at NAPA or O'rielys to see if they have one of the magnetic plugs.

So the trick here is going to be to find a penny or something and jb weld it where the pushrod lands then proceed to fill the crack with the jb weld. The next step isnt really necessary but i like to run a zip tie around the whole thing to make it extra strong. Your welcome
