That Winchester should be in a Rack in the back window.
Over 50 years ago, I had a Marlin 336 in .30-30W. I had a folding-forward bench seat in my '68 C/10 Stepside. I fashioned a rifle scabbard from parachute case nylon, and kept it behind the seat back, held on by bunji cords. Probably illegal but I was lucky.
