Chrome Grill For My 55

Has any of you used chrome powder coating for your grill. The painted grill on my 55 is in real good shape for its age. No rust. I want to have a chrome grill but I just can't replace a timeless American made treasure that is in real good shape with something from overseas and the cost to get a grill chrome plated is expensive.

I had the wakeboard tower powder coated on my boat. it is a bright silver and is a nice shiny silver coating. noy sure if the chrome powder coat would look like chrome but the powder coating shop usually has a sample display with all their colors and sheens etc.

some of the art supply shops or a place that does graphics could likely set you up with some chrome look a like decal material that you could wrap the cross bars with. if you don't like it peel it off.
