OEM Battery?

Which Delco Battery/Batteries would a 1972 Blazer have come with new?

The side terminal R89/R89W is for 1971-72.



If you want to use a modern battery, they also make toppers:

Don't bother. Get the right stuff the first time.

If Roger does not produce them, check with M&H or Lectric Limited

Roger reached out to me last Monday in response to my request and said he had a set of cables for my application so I sent payment. I haven’t heard anything since then despite multiple inquiries via PM and email.

I guess worst case scenario I’m out $160 and have to continue to search.

He was last active yesterday at 7:43 pm and hasn’t responded to my PM or email inquiries.

Where/whaf is the ground strap supposed to bolt to? Currently grounded to the front of passenger head right behind the a/c compressor bracket. The secondary ground looks like it might attach to the passenger side inner fender. There’s a hole there for a bolt. Anyone know what size bolt needs to go there to attach it?
